Boilers

boilers

All new boiler installations should be fitted with either SEDBUK A rated appliances and any can be combined with all our solar solutions. These are generally known as High Efficiency (HE) or condensing boilers. Lets Go Green Deal has included SEDBUK information on all boilers shown in our Price Guide.

We Have The Widest Selection Of Boilers In The Market;

Electric Boilers

If you are not connected to mains natural gas, and do not want the inconvenience of having to store either propane or oil, then an alternative proposition is a small electric boiler.

These units are best suited to smaller properties such as flats and they provide the convenience and flexibility of a typical radiator heating system without the problem of having to route a flue to an outside wall.

With heat outputs for a single unit up to a maximum 12kw it is possible to place the wall mounted units in “banks” until the desired heat output is reached, dependent on the property’s electrical supply.

Domestic hot water requirements can be satisfied independently via a storage cylinder which is heated directly from an electrical supply.

Gas Boilers

Gas Boilers are available in a range of models and heat outputs. Most boilers are available in either natural gas or propane: PTS stock brands from the leading manufacturers.

Heating only, open vent
These are either wall hung or floor standing and provide heating and hot water via a storage cylinder to all sizes of homes. They generally require an open vent and a feed and expansion cistern in the loft.

Combination
This system provides instant hot water without the need for a storage cylinder and central heating from a single appliance. Available in various sizes, some with integral hot water storage buffers to suit different family needs. This system would not require a cistern in the loft and most boilers are wall hung.

Heating only, sealed system
This type of boiler has the same attributes as heating only, open vent but does not require a feed and expansion cistern in the loft as the system is pressurised utilising a sealed system vessel either integral or external to the boiler.

Storage
This system is generally a floor standing appliance which provides central heating and a plentiful supply of hot water and suitable for homes where there is a high demand for hot water.

Back Boiler (BBU)
This boiler is generally sited behind a gas fire and provides the home owner with the same system as heating only.

Oil Boilers

If you are not connected to mains natural gas, oil central heating is worth considering as an alternative to propane or bottled gas, or anthracite.

Heating only, open vent
These are either wall hung or floor standing and provide heating and hot water via a storage cylinder to all sizes of homes. They generally require an open vent and a feed and expansion cistern in the loft.
